OSN 2005, or Online Social Networks 2005, is an online conference about social networking. The OSN 2005 Program includes a forum called “Social Networking Hawaiian Style”.

Hawai`i’s idea of social networking is just another term for `ohana - the family unit.” Like so many things about the Web that are Hawai`i influenced, the term surfing the Web or the term Wiki, meaning fast or Akamai meaning intelligent.
